May 17th “Fossils"
1:30pm – 3:00pm
Students will learn all about different kinds of fossils. They will even be able to polish their own Petoskey stone to take home with them!


May 25th "New vision of Mars”

12 noon – to landing
We have teamed up with the Planetary Society of Pasadena Ca. to allow a live feed from N.A.S.A. of the Mars landing! We will feature a Planetarium show featuring the Red Planet. Enjoy an opportunity to witness an actual Mars landing from the comfort of the Besser Museum. 


June 20th - June 22nd 
“Native American Village"
Boys scout camp-out

June 21st ” Native American Workshop"
1:30pm – 3:00pm

Students will learn Native American culture, craft their own indian belt, see authenic hand-made baskets. They can even help work on the Indian Village in our backyard!
