History of Commercial Fishing on Thunder Bay 1835 to 2014 From Black River to Rockport, by Clarence "Tuffy" and Bonnie Cross.
This book is an awsome story about commercial fishing; the first industry of Alpena's Thunder Bay and the surrounding area, and that at one time employed 600+ people. It is a MUST read story abouth the history of the fisheries of our local area, and how the fishery changed through the years. News articles, pictures, interviews, and personal experiences about the commercial fisheries are included in the booth.
